San Diego // Days 4-6

As good as the first half of our trip went, the second half definitely didn't disappoint!

//// Some highlights ////

finding about 90 sand dollars in one day between all of us kids.
                            {too bad i can't pay for school clothes with sand dollars!}
one last good boogie boarding trip to coronado
surviving riptides and loads of seaweed
wandering through the shops down at sand castle days
watching the sunset from the beach while dad played guitar **heart eyes**
junie jumping waves until way after dark
shopping in la jolla
all you can eat pizza & pasta restaurants
driving around the san diego temple, SO SO BEAUTIFUL
padres vs mets game
dancing grounds crew during the 4th inning stretch
finally crossing "eat a donut from ch donuts" off my bucket list. Go there, its so cute and delicious.
listening to country music during the drive home
dry air and clean sheets when we got home

San Diego, you treated us like kings.
We love you and can't wait to see you again soon!!
Another trip to the beach house complete.

San Diego // Day 3

//// things we loved about day 3 here in San Diego ////

spontaneous exploring trips into the city
pretty pink bushes EVERYWHERE
pictures with our eyes closed
mormon battalion museum... seriously so cool guys
panning for some "gold"
old town adventures
hiking up above the city
balboa park
walking along seaport village
riding an old carousel built in 1895 {totally worth the 3 bucks}
listening to a street musician while devouring our ice cream
sitting on a cow
trying not to die while going over the coronoado bridge (;
afternoon walks up to the pier
eating way too much food for our own good
endless games of cards and monopoly
naps on the deck
sitting out on the beach while the tide comes in

Question: could our trip ever get better?
 Answer: Yes. Because the sun has finally come out and we are off to coronado again today.
